Cannonless would definitely be an acceptable goal here alongside the warps and 100% runs. The consensus here seems to be overwhelmingly "this is arbitrary but entertaining, I really wanna see what you can do with cannonless though". This allows me to keep Penguin into 8-Castle, potentially saving time. Getting a faster first pipe cycle than what's already possible in 8-Airship, and performing a trick known as "Coding Double Bombless" with the Penguin powerup instead of using the Propeller powerup.Because of this, I lose half a second in 3-2 only to save ~25 more seconds by not running into any Ice Bros. An intentional ground-pound is done in 3-2 at the end, with the aim of manipulating the RNG of the Ice Bros.Grabbing the Penguin Suit in 3-1 saves ~30 seconds over keeping the Propeller Suit over the course of the TAS.The fastest route for this objective is to play through the first two worlds and take the cannons in worlds 3 and 6. The player has to cross lava using grates - several of them are round and often spin, while others will extend from walls and lava before retracting back. This level is also the only sky-themed level in the world. This level has the player jumping across the screen on the backs of Jumbo Rays, which make their only appearance in the game. Common Ghost House enemies can be found, including Boos. This level has Mario traveling across toxic liquid on a wooden plank. Mario must climb up these platforms to reach Iggy Koopa. In this tower, there are several moving platforms jutting out of spiked walls going back and forth. This level is the only level where Bramballs appear. This level has the only appearance of Wigglers in the game, including Big Wigglers. It introduces the Stalking Piranha Plant and the River Piranha Plant, the latter of which makes its only appearance in the game.
